This movie
displays the life of John Nash who is a brilliant mathematician who suffers
from Schizophrenia and has visual hallucinations that he is being followed be
Soviet agents. It shows=cases how he copes and learns to live functionally with
this disorder.

This is a case
study on several families in Ireland. Several parents to adults with
schizophrenia were studied to see the effects on family life and how difficult
it is to deal with. I am going to use this study to compare how accurate or
inaccurate the film portrayed John Nash’s home life and how his wife coped with
his diagnosis.

This is an
article published in a health magazine in 2005. It is done in a short test
format, with the answers underneath the multiple choice options. It is helpful
because it provides information in a very fun way and its information that even
some scholarly articles do not touch on. I will use this as a source of
background on the topic of schizophrenia to compare and contrast with how it is
depicted in the movie.
